Promoting lifelong learning is an objective of BCA, and the Lunch & Learn Series and Management Training Seminars support that effort through frequent seminars on a variety of business topics. The Education Committee strives to The mission of the BCA Education Committee is to provide practical learning opportunities based on the needs of the membership that foster individuals' career growth and members' organizational development.

A new objective of the BCA's 2022 strategic plan, the Education Committee is working to develop BCA University (BCAU). This program will develop a curriculum of the best practices necessary to operate a successful company in the commercial construction industry (sales, marketing, accounting, safety, project management, etc.) and create an annual program for training in these topics.

BCA Construction Scholarships Available

Guidelines & Application

The Education Committee is pleased to announce that BCA is currently accepting applications for the 2024 BCA Scholarship Program! Four scholarships, each worth $2500, are available for students pursuing training under a BAT-approved construction apprenticeship program or a college degree in a construction-related field. Eligibility is limited to BCA members' employees, immediate family members, or students who have successfully completed the BCA Construction Career Academy.
